Calcium oxide.

Calcium GOST 8877-76 oxide pure, chemically reactants. White powder or small transparent cubic crystals, square of 3,37 ^g/cm3. T. square of 2560-2600 °C, t. kip. 2850 °C. On air the reactant attracts moisture and _CO2, passing with significant increase in volume into _Ca(OH)2 and further into _CaCO3. Crystal CaO gives in to effect of water and _CO2 less.
