Fire smoke announcers of SP 212-52SI are intended for detection of the ignitions which are followed by emergence of a smoke, and submission of disturbing notices in the form of sound and light signals. The announcer the firefighter smoke SP 212-52SI, autonomous, optical-electronic, to 85 sq.m,-10 … +55 °C, 7,5 … 10 V of DC from the battery, ø75x75мм, adjusting base in a set, the built-in sound signaling device.

The design of smoke fire announcers of SP 212-52SI represents the plastic case with located inside the printed circuit board, optical knot and sound membrane. The "Krone" battery is established from a back wall in special deepening and is closed by adjusting base which carries out also an arm role when fastening the smoke announcer to building constructions.
The principle of action of these fire announcers is based on periodic control of optical density of environment: its current value is compared to threshold value of amplitude of the impulses of infrared radiation reflected from the particles of a smoke generated by the electronic scheme of devices. Continuously measuring thus smoke density, announcers provide timely detection of the first signs of possible ignition.
At smoke of air to threshold value of optical density the disturbing signal in the form of a blinking of the built-in light-emitting diode and long sound signals is given.
