Received the name Chlorella thanks to the Greek root "chloros" that means flavovirent, and the Latin termination - ella - literally means "small". Its habitat is generally fresh-water reservoirs. This microscopic alga possessing a large supply of a chlorophyll and a complex of the most rare nutrients participates in photosynthesis process, absorbing carbon dioxide, oxygenating air. The microscopic alga of a hlorell is considered the long-liver of our planet. Its existence is measured more than two billion years.
