3D6S2, 3D6N-235S2, 3D12A diesels are intended for installation on vessels of different function as the main ship diesels working for the rowing screw.
Fuels, specified diesels high-speed, four-cycle with direct injection. Type 3D6N-235S2 with gas-turbine pressurization. Type 3D6S2 and 3D6N-235S2 - six-cylinder with a line arrangement, and type 3D12A and type 3D12A-1 - twelve-cylinder with the V figurative arrangement of cylinders and disorder of blocks 600.
The cooling system - liquid, circulating, double-circuit, with the coolers and temperature regulators which are separately located water-to-water and water-oil. For pumping of water on an external contour of the cooling system on diesels the pump of outside water is installed.
The lubrication system - circulating, under pressure with a "dry" case, with the electric pump for prestarting pumping of system.
Diesels are equipped hydraulic a reverse reducer, consisting of a reducer and the hydrooperated multidisk coupling of coupling intended for connection and dissociation of the rowing screw with a cranked shaft and also change of the direction of rotation of the rowing screw of the vessel. Diesels can be delivered also with mechanical a reverse reducers.
Several models of each diesel differing in the direction of rotation of an output shaft a reverse reducer are produced: right (clockwise) and left (counterclockwise), taking a detached view a reverse reducer, and also a reduction on forward and a backing:
- for 3D6S2, 3D6N and 3D12A diesels - 1:2,04 or 1:2,95 on the forward course and 1:2,18 on a backing. In reasonable cases diesels 3D6S2 with a reduction 1:2,95 on the forward course can be issued with a reduction on a backing 1:2,61.
Diesels can be equipped with an additional shaft of selection of power to 30 h.p.
Launch of diesels is carried out by an electric starter or compressed air. For charging of rechargeable batteries diesels are equipped with the generator of alternating current with the built-in rectifier, the regulator of tension and the device of suppression of hindrances to radio reception.
The control of diesels and control of work can be exercised from a guard of management directly on the diesel or from the control panel located in the cabin of the vessel.
