Baswool mineral wool (minvata) belongs to the category of heat-insulating materials and possesses properties which, undoubtedly, do this material to one of the most popular types of a heater practically in any climatic zone, including in Azerbaijan. Different types of a minvata have various structure. So, for example, glass wool belongs to the category of elastic materials with a low density, incapable to maintain high temperatures. Most often glass cotton wool is used for the organization of warming and sound insulation of partitions, overlappings, sometimes facades which will not be exposed to the raised mechanical loadings. It is delivered in the form of rolls or mats. Though plates from glass wool are also made. And here the stone or basalt minvata, on the contrary, is capable to maintain high temperatures, is steady against vibration and is made, generally in the form of plates of various thickness and density thanks to what has wider range of application.
