Screw compressors
The technology of screw compressors is developed in 1939 by James Howden's company & To and professor of Lysholm (Liskholm) from the company Svenska Maskiner Rotor. We introduced this new technology in industrial production in the forties of the last century and in 1961 developed the first-ever oil compressors with an adjustable expense. Now we deliver screw compressors for artificial cooling, oil, gas and petrochemical branches worldwide.
Our design of the compressor which is not demanding big maintenance and possessing high efficiency minimizes operational costs. The smooth course of two screws allows compressors to cope without vibration with the most complex gases, impurity or liquid traffic jams. We deliver two series of standard screw compressors with a naked axis: XRV and WRV lines. XRV provides streams from 300 m 3/h to 1 600 m 3/h, and WRV - from 550 m 3/h to 18 000 m 3/h.
Screw compressors are delivered by the Howden Compressors Ltd company, and in North America - the Howden company the LLC Compressors.
Screw compressor installations
If there is not enough compressor with a naked axis, we will develop full compressor installation. The typical module unites in itself the compressor, the drive, a control system of oil, control facilities, measuring devices and additional technological components, such as coolers, vaporizing capacities, system of removal of condensate and gas purifiers. Usually we deliver each module in the form of completely assembled installation ready for connection to devices of interface of the processing and municipal equipment of the customer, as much as possible reducing thereby time for installation and commissioning. We completely consider requirements of availability to maintenance.
Our modular installations made to order are developed taking into account requirements of the international standards, such as API, ASME (VIII DIV 1), BS, GOST, AD, Merkblatt, the Chinese and Japanese norms for the vessels working under pressure, NORSOK, NACE and TEMA when it is specially stipulated. Besides, our compressor systems and installations admit many authoritative organizations, such as Lloyds, Bureau Veritas, Norske Veritas, RINA, DSRK, to do to Bureau mines, the German Lloyd and NKK.
